Okay, so I’m supposed to be doing homework, right? I have 2 papers due this week for which I have only 2 pages written on one. Instead, I’m sitting at the computer, eating popcorn and sliding my buttery fingers all over the keyboard which makes it really difficult to type fast because they keep sliding off of the keys! My dog is salivating next to me just begging for more popcorn and the kitties are playing in the background. Okay, I meant the kitties – not kiddies! They are in bed finally! It’s been a bad week for them. My daughter has new teeth growing in and I think she’s going through a growth spurt. She’s getting fevers off and on all week. My son? Well, as cute as he is, his temper is getting the better of him. It seems like he’s tired all the time! Perhaps they are both going through growth spurts. Lord knows I can’t afford to buy more clothing so why doesn’t he just let them stay little? LOL.
Anyway, so I received this fabulous offer to be on a great designer’s team. Her name is Lorilei Murphy and she owns Rosey Posey Studio. If you run over to her blog, she even has a freebie quickpage on there that you can download from one of her other kits! This woman has more talent in her left hip pocket than I do in my whole body. I swear to you, God gave me enough talent to frustrate myself but not enough to run away and create something to be remembered by. So I have come to an agreement with him. As long as I live, I will stalk every fabulous designer I can and do my best to showcase their awesomeness! In return, they give me fabu stuff to work with! Here’s a new kit that just left my mouth salivating like my dog’s:
Here’s a layout I did with it. My children have always loved gardening but now they are old enough to understand how to dig, place bulbs, and cover rather than just create holes and mud! This was from last year because we haven’t had the chance to actually garden this year. I’ve had these photos sitting in my “working layouts” folder since September of last year waiting for the perfect kit. Thanks Lor! You ROCK!!!!
