Have you ever just had one of those weeks where you just wish it were over? And even after it’s over you wish it had never happened? We went to Vermont last week to attend a wedding. On the way there we hit a deer. All I can say is I’m grateful we were in the truck and not the car, it wasn’t a moose, and my husband was driving and not me! I was visibly upset but would have been a wreck if I’d hit the deer. What made it even worse is that the deer was a nursing mommy. We think we saw the baby. The estimated damage was $2900. JEEZ!!!!
While we were there, I received a phone call from my sister. Seems my niece’s newborn baby has some heart problems. There’s more to this story but if I shared it, some people might get upset because they weren’t told before they found out on my blog. Just know that the baby now has to go see a cardiologist. What a way to start out your new life. Poor baby! On top of that, it rained on the wedding (but we had a fabulous time!) and my petsitter called me to tell me that our cat ran away. We had to cut the trip short by a day and a half to come home and look for him. We were back an hour before he came meowing at the back door. Guess he saw the lights and said “guess I’d better get home.”
So that was my week! To perk my attitude up, I decided to make a quick layout. I’d already created this fabulous layout (my opinion anyway, lol) for the Scrapbook-Elements Scripture Challenge hosted by Rina Kroes. You can get the quickpage free for just submitting a layout using any Scrapbook-Elements products (even freebies) and the scripture wordart before July 25th.
Here’s my layout:

These are the products I used to create the layout. Hope you have a great week! ~Denise

Wow – it sound like you had a very busy week (or weekend). I hope it calms down. Your truck will be repaired – it’s great that you & you’re family were not hurt. Get a deer whistle from you insurance agent (it hides nicely in the front grill) – let me know if you can’t find one… And I hope the baby in your fam is doing well. Will keep that precious one in my prayers!
